Information used for your service request
Forge Gates uses the information you provide to respond to gate-service inquiries and manage requested work. This can include your name, phone number, email address, property address, project details, and the messages you exchange with us. Please do not send payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information through an inquiry form or text message.
We also receive service requests referred through Home Depot Pro Referral. Those requests contain customer contact and project information supplied through the referral service. We use that information to follow up about the requested service, not to sell the customer information or add the customer to unrelated marketing campaigns.
No sale of customer information or marketing sharing
Forge Gates does not sell customer personal information. Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, and text-message consent are not sold or shared with other businesses or third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers may process information as needed to operate our website, deliver inquiries, manage service conversations, and transmit messages on our behalf. This operational processing is separate from sharing information for another business’s marketing. Our website inquiry form uses Web3Forms; service messaging may be managed through Clasp and its messaging providers.
Website usage and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and usage. Analytics and website hosting services may process technical information such as browser and device details, pages visited, and network information. Google Analytics may use cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Links to Home Depot, social profiles, and other external websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. This policy describes Forge Gates; it does not replace those services’ policies.
Service messages and your choices
Text conversations are for the service you requested, including responding to an inquiry, discussing an estimate, scheduling, and project updates. Receiving a referral does not expand the scope of the permission given by the customer. We use SMS only where permission covers contact from Forge Gates.
You may stop service texts by replying STOP to the sending number, or contact Forge Gates using the contact page. You can also ask questions about your information or request that it be corrected or deleted. We may need information to identify the relevant request and may need to retain records connected with service work or legal obligations.
